Anthony DiMichele (b. 1953)  

Anthony studied Intaglio & Relief printmaking with Peter Ramsey, via The Experimental College in 1985, and co-founded Presswork, a Seattle based printmaking collective, the following year.  He studied Mezzotint engraving with Laurent Schkolnyk in Nantes, France, for two consecutive summers in the mid-nineties.   He later co-founded an artists' collective in Friday Harbor, WA, The Collective. 

Anthony has taught printmaking through Skagit Valley Community College (Friday Harbor branch) and, independently, through his private studio, Studio 7 Printmaking, in Friday Harbor.  He has also taught printmaking to developmentally disabled adults, as an instructor for Creative Living (Seattle, WA).

His work has been represented, over the years, by Davidson Gallery (Seattle, WA), Wenneger Gallery (Rockport, MA), Fine Impressions Gallery (Seattle, WA) and Flatbed Press (Austin, TX), among others.  His work has been exhibited in both National and International venues and is part of Museum collections in Italy and China.
